EXAIR air knives and air wipes

The use of EXAIR air knives and air wipes are an efficient way to clean, dry or cool parts, fabrics or conveyor belts. It provides a uniform laminar air layer that is distributed with great force over the entire length. Even at high pressures of 80 PSIG (5.5 Bar), EXAIR’s air knives and air wipes are super quiet for most resistors.

EXAIR air knives and air wipes

EXAIR produces three types of air knives, each of which has its benefits but also disadvantages. This comparison illustrates the difference between Exair Super air knives, blower-driven air knives, flat nozzle air applicators and a tube with holes under compressed air. EXAIR air knives and air wipes are available in aluminum, stainless steel and polyvinylidene. Air wipes are available especially for round forms, such as tubes and hoses.

By far the most widely used is the Super air knife due to its better performance (super strong, super light on the consumption of compressed air and, therefore, also super quiet). The Standard air knife is somewhat less economical but easier to integrate into certain applications and more advantageous in acquisition costs. The Full Flow air knife is the most advantageous, has the smallest footprint but is also the least powerful of the three options.
