EXAIR control cabinet coolers

The cabinet cooling system of EXAIR protects your electronics and prevents production stops due to, for example, overheating, dirt or moisture in your cabinets. Control cabinet coolers operate on compressed air. This compressed air makes the use of other energy sources unnecessary. It also eliminates the need for moving parts or chemical coolants. Our control cabinet coolers ensure that harmful temperatures, moisture and dirt do not stand a chance. EXAIR control cabinet coolers

EXAIR control cabinet coolers operate based on the Vortex principle. The control cabinet coolers are equipped with a stainless steel vortex tube, through which compressed air is injected. This air is converted into a hot and cold air flow by means of the vortex principle. The cold air flow is blown into the control cabinet and washes away the warm air. The warm air is discharged at the top of the control cabinet.

Cooling and cleaning systems

Control cabinets are particularly interesting for systems only occasionally require cooling. If the temperature rises in summer and the cabinet is no longer sufficiently cooled, control cabinet cooling can offer a solution. In addition, in environments where the ambient temperature is generally high or where the air contains a lot of dust or dirt, control cabinet coolers are often the only solution. In this case, fans are of little use and only blast dirt into the control cabinet. Devices have difficulty running at high temperatures and break down much faster. Dusty rooms not only require control cabinet cooling to control dirt.

EXAIR control cabinet cooling is easy and quick to install. Our coolers are also available in compressed air-saving and thermostat-controlled versions.

Standard versions:

  • NEMA 12 (IP54) dust-proof and oil-proof for general industrial applications
  • NEMA 4 (IP66)  dust-proof and oil-proof, as well as splashwater-proof for indoor and outdoor use
  • NEMA 4X (IP66)  dust-proof and oil-proof, as well as splashwater-proof for indoor and outdoor use with stainless steel 303 casing

Versions for use in hazardous locations acc. to UL (not ATEX):

  • NEMA 4 (IP66) UL Class I Div 1, Groups A, B, C and D; Class II Div 1, Groups E, F en G – and Classes III
  • NEMA 4X (IP66) UL Class I Div 1, Groups A, B, C en D; Class II Div 1, Groups E, F and G – and Classes III
