Description
FOX Ejectors for Maintenance-Free Pneumatic Conveying of Solids without Moving Parts
FOX Venturi ejectors are utilized to inject bulk solids such as powders, pellets, flakes, and particles into positive pressure conveying systems. They provide end-users and system designers with a reliable way to eliminate rotary valves from conveying systems where rotary valves simply cannot adequately operate, especially with very fine, abrasive, fragile, or high-temperature materials.
Why are fox eductors for solids conveying used in pneumatic conveying systems?
FOX Venturi ejectors have no moving parts, enabling maintenance-free handling of bulk materials. This is particularly advantageous in applications involving fine, abrasive, or irregularly shaped products. Replacing existing rotary airlocks with venturi ejectors results in simpler, more reliable conveying systems. Designing with ejectors from the outset ensures the most reliable product feed.
No Backflow – All rotary airlocks/valves experience backflow – also known as fugitive dust or leakage. When the transported product is fine or abrasive, backflow can cause severe wear issues. Even with free-flowing products, backflow can lead to bridging, cleaning problems, or even explosion hazards. Installed under filter houses, screw conveyors, or dust collectors, rotary airlocks can be a significant source of fugitive dust emissions, which are eliminated with the adoption of FOX ejectors.
