MUNTERS DV mist eliminators

The Munters DV droplet separator is a vane-type mist eliminator for vertical gas flow. The droplet-charged gas flow is propelled through the separator chambers, which are designed for maximum effect on the gas flow. Due to this configuration, decelerating forces affect the droplets. The droplets collide with the profiles, form a liquid film and flow back as a result of gravity. V-shaped grooves on the separator plates ensure that the liquid is properly drained off and drips back against the vertical gas flow and into the sump. Applications for Munters DV mist eliminators include the use of evaporators, absorbers, gas scrubbers, desulphurization units, gas coolers, exhaust air treatment plants and various chemical plants.
