Description
EXAIR NEMA 4 (IP66) control cabinet coolers are dust- and oil-tight, splash-resistant and suitable for indoor and outdoor use. By using a low-pressure non-return valve for all air outlets, the NEMA 4 classification is guaranteed.
The EXAIR NEMA 4 (IP66) control cabinet coolers contain a low pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and the air outlet of the cabinet. This valve closes and seals when the cooler is not working to maintain the NEMA integrity of the electronic enclosure. NEMA 4 (IP66) cabinet coolers are available in many cooling capacities for large and small switch panels. Unlike an expensive freon-based air conditioner, EXAIR cabinet coolers include a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air – without moving parts. They can be installed within minutes via a standard electrical recess. NEMA 4 Cabinet Cooler® systems are available with thermostat control or as a continuous operating system. Each of these systems includes a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering your enclosure and a cold air distribution kit used to direct the air for circulation or to hot spots. All cabinet coolers are UL certified and CE compliant. They are an inexpensive, reliable way to cool and vent electronic control panels.
Control cabinet coolers are particularly suitable for systems that require only occasional cooling. If the temperature rises in summer and the cabinet is no longer sufficiently cooled, control cabinet cooling can be activated. Even in environments where the ambient temperature is generally high or where the air contains a lot of dust or dirt, control cabinet coolers are often the only solution. Fans are then of little use and only blow dust or dirt into the control cabinet. Devices function with difficulty in high temperature and break down much faster. Dusty spaces require not only control cabinet cooling to keep the dirt at bay.
